Welcome to the P2hD Blog.  Our first Project Athena Podcast features Howard Rodriguez Mori, a doctoral candidate at Florida State University College of Information discussing with Dr. Kathleen Burnett his decision to enter doctoral studies in LIS.  Howard, along with his fellow doctoral student colleagues from Project Athena look forward to your questions and concerns regarding the consideration of doctoral studies as they blog with you specifically about challenges to minority students.  To enrich the discussion, faculty from various LIS programs, practitioners holding the doctoral degree, as well as other LIS doctoral students have been identified to participate to offer a diverse and comprehensive perspective.
